Structural Steel Project Engineer
We’re looking for a Structural Steel Project Engineer to support end-to-end delivery across heavy steel and infrastructure projects. You’ll translate requirements into coordinated drawings and execution plans, work closely with fabrication, and support site teams through installation and commissioning.
Key responsibilities
Develop and coordinate shop drawings, material takeoffs, and fabrication packages.
Review project requirements and translate them into buildable solutions.
Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
Participate in technical meetings with clients/consultants/contractors.
Support RFIs, revisions, and as-built documentation.
Help ensure quality, safety, and schedule alignment across deliverables.
Requirements
Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
3+ years in structural steel, fabrication, or infrastructure delivery.
Strong understanding of steel detailing/drawings and fabrication workflows.
Confident communicator with strong coordination skills.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with bridges, pumping stations, hydraulic structures, or heavy industrial steel.
Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection processes.
AutoCAD/tekla/solidworks (any is fine).
Work on major infrastructure and industrial projects.
Strong engineering–fabrication collaboration.
Clear growth path and exposure to full project lifecycle.
