QA/QC Engineer – Steel Fabrication
We’re hiring a QA/QC Engineer to strengthen fabrication and finishing quality across complex steel and hydraulic system deliveries. You’ll work alongside engineering and production to maintain quality standards, improve traceability, and ensure inspection readiness.
Key responsibilities
Execute and document inspections across fabrication, assembly, and finishing stages.
Verify materials, dimensions, weld quality, and coating prep/finish against requirements.
Maintain QA documentation, checklists, NCRs, and corrective/preventive actions.
Support quality planning for new projects and new production runs.
Coordinate with production to resolve quality issues quickly and prevent recurrence .
Support client/third-party inspections and final release readiness.
Requirements
Engineering degree or technical diploma (Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgy or similar).
2+ years in QA/QC within fabrication/manufacturing (steel preferred).
Strong attention to detail and comfort with documentation.
Able to work on the shop floor and communicate with production teams.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with welding/coating inspection workflows.
Familiarity with traceability, inspection reports, and acceptance criteria.
Experience supporting client inspections.
